Sing along!

Songs and chants are a great way to remember new vocabulary. Be sure to check out our growing collection on the blog! This new one is a little fast and has a lot of new words, but can you and your student still guess what it is about using the video? 'Los elefantes' is a popular Spanish children's song that might be sung on long bus or car rides. Does it seem similar to any songs you know in English?

Read aloud!

"Froggy se viste" is a wonderful story of an excited student on a snow day. The illustrations and repetitive dialogue make it easier to understand in a second language. Sound out the words together with your student and use the comments section to ask any questions!

Bate, bate, chocolate

Warm up on a cold day with this quick recipe for Mexican hot chocolate! The drink is traditionally made with a molinillo (whisk) to make it light and frothy.
